Suzy

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Suzy is a valuable part of the dental team who always performs her duties with a positive and caring attitude. Among Suzy’s duties as a registered dental assistant are teaching hygiene to patients and their families, ordering supplies and assisting both Dr. Ruby and Dr. Rochon. Suzy has enjoyed working with the children in our practice since 1999. She has a son named Elijah, who means the world to her. In her spare time, she enjoys caring for and watching Elijah grow.

Marti

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - recently retired!
Marti brings to the team over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She has been a team player in our practice since 1990. Marti’s primary jobs are reception, scheduling and business coordination. She also performs coronal polish a few days a week. Marti loves children, enjoys time with her husband, gardening, traveling and playing with her granddogs!! Marti has recently retired and we miss her very much already!

Cherlena

Receptionist - recently relocated!

Cherlena has been a valuable part of the team for the past eleven years. Cherlena has departed to join a lucky team in Ventura. Cherlena’s exceptional people skills, fun-loving and energetic personality and genuine concern for patients and their families make her a valuable part of the dental team and greatly enhance the positive experience of patients and their families. She will be dearly missed by all. During her off hours, Cherlena enjoys exercising, hiking, camping, knitting, spending time with her family and her dogs “Mia” and "Jack".

Linsey

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Linsey joined our team almost 2 years ago. Linsey came to us from Crescent City. She relocated to Santa Barbara to pursue her studies and hopes to continue on to become a dental hygieneist. In her spare time, Linsey enjoys spending time with her friends, playing her guitar, listening to music and enjoying Santa Barbara's beaches. Linsey is a great asset to our team and her love of children shows in all that she does.

Susan

Business Manager
With over 17 years of experience in the dental profession, Susan is an indispensable part of the dental team. Because of her genuine personality, exceptional listening skills and mediation abilities, Susan is greatly appreciated by the team. Susan and her husband had the good fortune of raising their two adult children in the Santa Barbara community and being involved in a variety of local school and youth activities. Her love of children makes Drs. Ruby and Rochon’s pediatric practice a perfect match for her. Susan has many hobbies, but her new favorite pastime is her granddaughters, Emily and Kaitlyn.

Jennifer

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
 Jennifer brings with her a wide variety of experiences from her previous dental homes. We are pleased to have Jennifer on board. Jennifer’s main responsibilities include assisting Dr. Ruby and Dr. Rochon in delivering patient care and helping to maintain the back office area. Jennifer has been an RDA for four years. She is a transplant from the Redlands area and is learning to enjoy Santa Barbara as her husband pursues his education at UCSB. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband as she learns what there is to do in one’s spare time in Santa Barbara.

Leah

Leah brings many years of experience in front office to our practice. Leah has worked in the dental field in many capacities over the past eleven years. In her current function, Leah serves our families by handling scheduling, pre-estimates and benefits. In her spare time, Leah enjoys caring for her husband, daughter and three dogs.
